how do i find out the max my cpu can run at

hey im a noob when it comes to this. i bought a old laptops to practice overclocking on. it has a 133mhz processor. whats the max i can get this to?
is there a rule of thumb or somthing like that?

Unfortunately most (99%) of laptops have no way of overclocking. It is a function in the BIOS of the motherboard for the most part. If you have a normal PC we can begin to help you learn, especially if you tell us what the specs are (motherboard, CPU, memory, power supply, etc).
