dragon age awakening weapons

hello :)
so i installed dragon age awakening yesterday (on patch 1.4) after finishing the da origins,i started the game but i didn't had my weapons that i used to finish the game? is this normal?

also does dragon age 2 events get effected by the dragon age awakening choices? if so, ive played dragon age 2 halfway through, is it possible to import my awakening save files without restarting dragon age 2?

For your second question I believe you have to import those at the very beginning of a game, you can't import them after the fact.

If at the end of DA:Origins, you were using any DLC weapons (Like the meteorite greatsword or something like that) They don't carry over. There are some mods that carry it over for you though.
