I have a abit th7II-raid with the bios id:38 and a P4 1.8(north wood). My problem is that the manual says that the core voltage can go at 2.2 v but i only can choose a maximum of 1,625!
Can you help me????

Please send mail to [email protected]

Thank you for your attention.

That 2.2 max is only for the "older" non-Northwood P4 chips. I think the max is 1.65 with the official "38" BIOS, and there is a "hacked" beta bios "77" which allows 1.85.
There is also a wire trick that can be done, check the posts here for info.

I suggest doing the 3-4 pin wire trick and staying with the official 38 BIOS. IMO and experience, it is more stable and will get you to higher levels with less voltage.

The wire trick will get you to a max of 1.825 vs. 1.85 with the hacked 77 BIOS.

I agree though, I can't wait for Abit to release a BIOS that will get me more voltage so I can go higher:) I only need another 0.5 volts to get into the 2.7's.
