Thanks for any advice.

Its only $139 and rated for 2000mhz same freq that your running your dominators at.

I am very very happy with my redlines, I chose them over the patriot sticks because Mushkin had recently updated the module (this was about a year ago now). I got 6GB of 1600Mhz and run them daily at nearly 1800Mhz @ 8-8-8-24, i hear the Mushkin Readioactive sticks have a lot of OC room as well, maybe give them a shot?

I only hear good things about Gskill tho dont get me wrong, my memory experience with Corsair, Mushkin and Patriot, i choose Mushkin.

Im not to sure if you need 2000Mhz sticks for editing, but of those the fastest are the
redlines or the gskill with the tighter timings even tho they are rated at 1333mhz

the only problem with this is getting 12GB of ram to run stable at 2k speeds. Its not easy, but its no unattainable. You will likely have to add more volts to the Vtt.

I would grab some DDR3 1600Mhz CL7/8, like the middle selection. OR Grab those DOM's and clock them down.
