help me i need to change my ram timing to 8-8-8-24 i have a MSI 790FX-GD70 AMD 790FX (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard i recently bought Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit RAM and it fails to load just blue screen.............. some guy on this form said that the timing needs to be changed in bios but im worryed cause could that make my system unstable for a long term solution? i also dont know how to change the timing in the bios cause i never go n change my bios :S i dont know what im looking or changing!

If the model number of your modules is CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B, then the rated timings at DDR3-1600 are 9-9-9-24 at 1.50V. The four primary timings (9-9-9-24) relate to DRAM tCL, DRAM tRCD, DRAM tRP, and DRAM tRAS, and are located in the Advance DRAM Configuration--> DRAM Timing Mode sub-section of the BIOS. First change DRAM Timing Mode to Manual, then manually adjust those four timings to 9-9-9-24, and leave all of the sub-timings on Auto. Also manually adjust the DRAM voltage to 1.50V.
