1600 vs 1866 for an i5 2500k.

I plan on overclocking, but I am not sure if the 1866 is worth the extra $30 per 8 gb.

How much of a difference would I notice in games / applications / overclocking between the 1600 and the 1866?

negligable, you will be fine with 1600 unless you are benchmarking.
