Hi all,

I sent some ddr dual to Corsair for RMA a couple month ago.
One stick out of two was deas, and the guy from Corsair asked me to send both, are they are "paired", and they needed to send me a new "paired" kit in order for the modules to work dual.

Is it BS?

its more marketing than anything, as long as all of the sticks that you have will work at the same timings (all the way through the list) and voltage you will be ok. problem is if the memory sticks are very old, they may not have memory to match to what you had, requiring both sticks to be replaced. and most ram of today isnt what memory was just 1 year ago
