Is PC3 17000 worth the extra $$?

Hello,

I was wondering if the extra cost on these ram sticks are worth it? they cost more than twice the amount of other lower speed rams.

Depends on the particular sticks in question perhaps, and what you intend to do with them.

For normal usage or gaming, the extra price isn't worth it.

Is PC3 17000 worth the extra $$?
