Just bought myself a MSI CR630 laptop with AMD Phenom II X3 P820 CPU, 250GB HDD AND 2GB DDR3 RAM with Windows 7 Premium 64bit. Its a nice laptop as it was supposed to be a Dual Core but the shop I bought it from gave me the above :attn::attn::attn::attn:

Anyway I was immediatly looking into upgrading the RAM now I could either buy this

Corsair 4GB Kit 9-9-9-24 - £27+Del

Or

Corsair 8GB Kit £43+ Del

So go 4 or 8

The big question is: do you think you'll use 8 GB? Do you thrash the laptop with heavy video editing, photoshop, scientific applications and/or multiple virtual machines? If not, then you might not get a whole lot out of the extra 4 GB. On the other hand, if money isn't tight, then that extra £26 isn't a lot of money to spend knowing you wont need more RAM.
