Timings or speed?

I'm running a Phenom 955 @ 3800 along with 4gb (2x2gb) PNY 1600 CL8. I was wondering If it would make any difference if I were to drop the ram to 1333 and tighten the latency to 6?

1333 at CAS 6 should theoretically be 11% faster, going based on rough calculations.

+1 but you won't notice it unless your running benchmarks or distributed software.

eh, looks like I'll be leaving it at 1600 CL8. I tried running it at 1333 CL6 and it wouldn't post.

Did you happen to try switching your command rate to 2T or raising your voltage a bit?
