not much, but my start for now. I cut a exahust fen hole on the top of my case, and I cut out the back hole of my case!

here is my thoughts on this... i tried both methods Hole saw, and dremel. Ive never used a dremel, so it was new to me... it came out decent (i used goggles too!!! arent you proud?) it came out really well for my first dremel cut. but here is the best part... SCREW a dremel for a hole, the hole saw is where it is at!! i mean it cut it PERFECTLY cleaner, and it wasnt a 80mm hole it was a 76mm so it was very close and it looked stock thats how machine clean it did (hand drill too) best part is....i could do like 10 more holes w/ this one bit!!

ayways...i thought i would let you know about my experiance.. thanks for the input, and the information, you guys have been great! expect alot of pics soon, my cam is on order right now!

First, congrats!~! The first time I cut my case I stood there for about 5 minutes just thinking to myself - "Do I REALLY want to do this? This case just cost me 150 bucks!~!" Well I did get into it after the first cut, I think thats the hardest to get passed!

Second, A suggestion for you. Dont use water, that will more than likely cause damage to the blade on the drill bit / hole saw thing that your using. My suggestion is to see if you can find the stuff thats made for that purpose. It will end up costing a few bucks, but will more than likely pay for itself with the number of blades youll save from having to replace.

Now I THINK you can use motor oil as well if really needed. Im not positive about this, but I think you can..

Well done! The first "violation" of your case's sheet metal is always the scariest. Soon enough, you'll probably not consider a new case "your's" before you cut it!

The first cut is always the hardest. The dremel will come in handy in other areas. Congrats, now what else to cut. How can it be made better?

heh well..today..i also cut 2 80mm fan holes in the front of my case w/ a hole saw thorugh plastic and metal! i think next weekend is going to be a painting weekend....i just dont know what color to paint this beast, i know i want to do dual color (one on the inards, and one color on the outside, my g/f is thinking white or a bright green on the inside, and maybe a purplish blue metalic on the outside....any input?
