can u put the Tt heat spreaders on memory without having to use the thermal tape since it attaches with the clips anyway?

I'm asking because i dont want to remove the warranty sticker and void my ram.

The tape acts as a thermal pad to make sure the ram and the sinks are making as much contact as possible. If you dont use it you dont make as good of a contact and loose a lot of the heat transfer. You could coat the warranty stick in vasoline so that it doesn't stick to that part.

but if i just used the spreaders without the thermal tape would it still dissapate heat from the memory, obviously not as well with the tape, but again will it help at all?

they really dont do that much preformance wise,
IMO it's just for the looks so if it is that important,
then it shouldn't hurt too much.

You could carefully peel the stickers off and stick them to a piece of glass somewhere incase you ever need them.
