As long as TI and nVidia aren't actually making their own tablets, does it matter?
 
yea it does, since the graphics does vary from arm based cpu. it would mean which graphics would you want and do you want a quad core or dual core tablet? really though know needs a quad core tablet. it is nice to have different manufactures, more options and wider price points.
 
Honestly, with the path that Nvidia is on, I doubt they'll beat them to the market.

EDIT: That's not to say I'm not giddy with excitement!
 
Project Denver has my attention for now.

The future of the microprocessor involves a tiny amount of 'x86' cores with a massive array of 'gpu' cores.

This is one of the first steps.
