how long did it take you to complete?

that case it supercool. I bet you have a good time showing it off to all your friends at lans!

two questions

do you have a cd rom and floppy?


and how did you make that bootup menu? that looks cool and, something I may want to do:)

hehe thanks...

I worked off and on for about 3 weeks, waiting for this and that to arrive. Everybody at lans loves it...

As for opticals and floppy... floppy is pretty unecessary and I can use a shared cd-rom over the network if I need to. The boot screen is a custom job... check out he forums at www.neowin.net for that stuff.

what are the demension of the briefcase??

and where did u find such a short IDE cable??

You can make custom size IDE cables...
The shortest I've ever seen sold retail was at fry's@ 6 inches.

hehe, well you know how all IDE cables have the part that plugs into the mobo then the slave and master connects? Well, that's just the slave and master connects :D It actually gives a "no ide cable present" error everytime I boot, but it doesn't slow down the boot at all or cause any problems, so :cool:
