Memory help for Asus G74SX

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade the ram in my laptop, a Asus G74SX.

My max memory is 4x4gb, running DDR3 PC3-10600 or DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 (non-ECC).

Being honest, I really don't know much about ram. I poked around newegg and I was looking at these two:

I'm very open to other suggesions, I would prefer to keep my cost at or below $100, but I can go over a little for something worth while.

I use my laptop, mostly for gaming, with the occasional photo editing session.

Either kit should work just fine.

According the the laptop spec from the Asus website, please make sure the laptop supports 1600Mhz module since most of the laptop does not allow you to configure the memory in the bios.
