I am trying to find 16 GB of RAM for my rig and Don't really understand what my best choice will be. Ive done a few hours of research and still draw a blank on what my best choice would be.
Here is what I am looking for:
16 GB of RAM
Best Gaming Performance
Needs to be from newegg given that is the gift card I have.
Here are the issues I'm having:
As far as I can see the faster the clock speed the worse the timings are. So do I go with 1600 MHz at a timing of 9-9-9-24 or do I go with a 2000 with a timing of 9-10-9-27. What will Increase performance and maintain stability.
As always please double check compatibility before making a suggestion:
4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel memory architecture
This is a crosshair Formula IV with an AMD 1090T Black Ed.
Thank You very much for any replies:
Edit:
Alternatively: is there anything better??
