Voltage Mod and wiretrick???

I've heard alot about all this voltage mod and wiretrick .... could you tell me what in the world both of theese things are and how it relates to overclocking!.. also I have a asus cuv4x with a fcpga p3 866 so could I take advantage of the voltmod or wire trick??? thanks

take a look at this thread- it explains both the problem and the cure of the wire trick.

Unless you mean the OTHER wire trick- it involves wrapping a very thin wire around certain pins on your CPU before you plug it in, this will give you a higher Vcore. Try a search here for "wire trick"; I've seen quite a few discussions on it in the past.
