so i am about to sleave my new PSU when it comes (Corsair Hx1050) and am trying to work out how much sleaving ill need to individually sleave each cable.

Doing my calculations i have worked out about 80' (25 meters) should be enough to cover it with a little bit left over.

Does this sound about right or should i order a little bit more?

thanks

I think you can start off with that, but you'll wind up needing more depending how many of the cables you want to actually sleeve. I prepared this little table below using the lengths specified in the Corsair manual:

I have the HX850 which has just one less 8-Pin cable. For my needs, I only sleeved the 24-Pin, the 6-Pin for the motherboard and two 6-Pins for my GPU.
The SATA power cables are pretty touch to de-pin since the connectors are daisy chained. They are already black colored, so I left those without sleeving.

Another tough part is that if you notice, all of the cables are modular with the exception of the 24-Pin. It is incredibly to get the sleeving secured as you get closer to the PSU enclosure. So what I did was just bundle all the cables within 6" of the PSU with one large heatshrink.

I also sleeved by SATA data cables.

Also, for heatshrink, you will need approximately 1 ft for every 10 feet of sleeving.

thanks for the reply.

I am going to sleave the 24 pin atx, 4 pci-e cables, the 8 pin esv. depending on how much i have left at the end of that i might do more.

That sounds good.
