I have an ABIT KR7-A

it says it supports 2100 PC DDR...but, can it support 2700 PC ddr??

yikes, new question.

it should work, but it will only run at 2100 speed

so, would there be any use in getting 2700?? would it be easier to overclock... or??

PC2700 should go farther, OC-wise. Crucial 2100 tend to go far anyway.

Of course, it might not get very far anyway, depending on what other cards you have. NICs are especially OC-unfriendly.

if you want some really good overclocking ram

get two sticks of corsair xms pc2400, its cas 2, and tested at either 155 fsb or 166fsb...i cant remember, but its good
