Thought i best start a thread in here as my thread for GPU is going this way..

So, I currently have the AMD Phenom 9500 2.2ghz cpu, and looks like its holding me back.

I'm looking for either a straight replacement on that so i dont have to spend more money on a new motherboard, but at same time i dont want to buy a new cpu and find my motherboard is hold back my GPU!.

So any suggestions on what i should do?

You could have also gone with the 965BE

MB is still the factory standard one to be honest, i guess the next money spent will be on upgrading that.

but tbh then next step is probably a new build rather than a upgrade, so aslong as this does me for next year or 2 i am happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
