go into your router settings, check the wireless connections, find your phone, get the IP and then add it in as DMZ.

this will allow full access and won't block you from hitting the internet.

EDIT: either that or there could be a solution to open ports for it

You might also try doing a soft reset on your router, and then a hard reset if that does not work. Backup your settings before doing a hard reset

did the dmz and didnt work. ill try doing a hard reset on router when i get home.

edit: i figured out the problem

i had the ssid under spyware haha. so the phone would connect to network but not access to internet due to the ssid name. i just changed the ssid to something else and whoa la it works.
