Hey all
Built another system
i7-2600k
ASRock extreem4 z77
8gig corsair vengence 1600
120gig Corsair Force3 SSD
hitachi 1TB HDD
ASUS DCII GTX570

When I go to launch BF3 from the desktop icon or by origin. I get the blue thinking circle around the mouse pointer. battlelog does not open in either IE or FireFox. If I move my mouse around it starts to lag, till it's unresponsive. Then I get a black screen and I have to power down the PC and reboot. Same thing happends if I try to launch the game by manually going to battlelog in firefox or IE.

No firewall/antivirus installed, Windows firewall turned off. I've tried every compatability mode and as Admin. I've uninstalled and tried installing on both drives. Anyone have any Idea on how to fix? EA has no idea what z77 is. The guy asked me what motherboard I was running and I said ASROCK Extreem4 Z77, and he was like whats a z77.

well I narrowed it dow, when I click to launch BF3, Ekag20nt.exe loads up 100's and 100's of files untill I run out of system mem and crash. WTF is casueing it to do that.

No idea, I would try reinstalling.

I'm also not sure why you are unable to open battlelog on your PC. I personally never open BF3 through Origin, I always just go to my bookmark of http://battlelog.battlefield.com/ and load the game through there

Sounds like an executable for some security software you may have installed?

Why do you do this? Does Origin not open at all?

Back on topic, I think a buddy of mine was getting this after a reinstall. Does it open the BF3 window but leave it minimized and only show a black screen if you maximize it?

If I am at my PC and I feel like playing BF3 I likely already have my browser open... I just click on my bookmark and then I am good to go. No reason to open up Origin and then click on BF3 to only re-open my browser window and go to a webpage that I could do myself significantly faster.

I agree and like the idea. I hate having pointless programs running in the background. So it doesn't open it after the game starts?

EDIT: I just tried it and it does open Origin when the game loads...
