p4266-C Turbo Settings?

What exactly do the Turbo settings in BIOS do? I can pick Normal, Turbo 1 or Turbo 2, but the doc doesn't say what they do, and I haven't been able to find any useful info online anywhere.

Turbo SHOULD speed up chipset, but it actually slows performance. Use NORMAL for best performance.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why that reviewer was having OCing trouble.

I'm running my 1.6a at 138 (2208 mhz) with mem timing at 2-2-2-5 stable. But the reviewer wasn't able to keep stable above 115. Likely the processor.

I'll just leave those "optimization" settings alone.

what they do is "lock your pci bus at a certain speed,fir example the turbo 1 settings "lock" the pci/agp @36/72 so they don't get to out of spec at higher fsb speeds.
