Abit BH-6 How high a cpu can I put in??

Hello all I have a friend who has a abit bh-6 motherboard and he is wondering if he can use a slocket to put in a celeron 900... does this motherboard support multipers of 9.0??? also would he have to upgrade his bios to support cpu's of that multiper??? thanks for all your help

Look in the CPU database an see if other Guys used a Celeron 900 on this Board...

Yes, the 900 cele will run in a BH6 w/ slocket. I have
2 BH6 boards and ran the 900 cele. I also did bios
update, SS is the latest for v 1.02.

The multiplyer supported on your friends board is
determined by the bios version that's installed.
