Hi.
I don't know this section is appropriate for asking this question.
I have a question about software for creating computer case design.
I have interest in creating design for my PC case from scratch.
So, I was looking for software for that.
I have tried using the Google Sketch-up.
When I used it to create design for my custom PC case, it didn't give me the result that I wanted to get.
And I looked into the price for AutoCad2013, it was just too expensive for my purpose, which is just solely home purpose.
Can anyone suggest me software for my purpose?

You're basically looking for CAD (computer-aided design) software. None of it (besides Sketchup) is really made for home use, it's all expensive and made for a professional environment. I have Solidworks myself, but I've found that Google SketchUp is the best for computer case design. It's not as featured or intuitive as other programs, but there's a huge community for already made models of components and converting those models to work on other CAD programs is a big PITA.
