Bios flash wont see cd-rom drives?(p4s333)

I tried to upgrade bios from 1001 to 1003. I finished and all was ok except my cd-rw and dvd were not detected by bios/windows. I then tried to flash to German beta 1004.003.
Same thing. So I flashed back to 1001 and now I have my drives back. Did I miss something? Seems strange when eveything else was detected (hard drives, video,ect). Any help is appreciated.

After you flas to 1004 you have to clear your Cmos and restart.Hope this helps!
