I've made a similar post in the Asus forum, but I need a wider audience because this is driving me nuts. Anybody with the Asus P4S333 have a problem with Probe not displaying CPU temps under 40C? I'm running a P4 2.0a at default with stock HSF right now. I wanted to get benchmark temps and scores before water cooling and OC'ing. I had one reply that said Probe didn't display CPU temps under 40. Anyone else have this experience? The temp has not moved even after running Sandra for an hour.

Go into the bios and have a look at what the temp says in there. If its a few degrees higher, then it may be correct. If it way less, then there is something wrong with the probe. Try re-installing the probe and see what happens.
