Does Corsair pc-2700 have 5ns chips and does it come with a heat spreader.

Which pc-2700 ram type is faster:
Ram type:16Mx8
or
ram type:32mx8

They have both on the corsair website and they are both 256mb.

Corsair uses 6ns chips, which is TRUE DDR2700. DDR400 will use 5ns chips. I don't know the answer to your other question.

Corsairs new XMS3000 is rated 6ns. Some of the yield will run at 5ns but chips are spd'ed 6ns.

Do you have a board that supports true PC2700/333? If you don't, then you won't see a performance gain really.

I'm using an Msi 645 ultra 333, will there be much performance increase going from Kingmax cas 2.5 6ns to Corsair cas2?

I've been looking around a lot at this sorta stuff and 2 points i gotta make. 1 the 16x8 RAM is actually the 128mb stuff. I have seen people describing the cas2 stuff as much more faster than standard 2.5
