One stick or two?

I have been reading threads about DDR performance on the forum and I have seen opinions both ways. Some say you get the best performance with multiple sticks (e.g. 2x256MB) and some say that one 512Mb stick is best. Who is right??

Most people think less is better, 1 less thing to mess up your OC.

I prefer one stick. I've got two sticks that do 166MHz but soon as I put them in together, I get sporadic reset problems. Happens on more than one board.

Some people have no problems. I've had boards in the past I ran multiple sticks on (still have a couple) with no problems.
