I purchased 256M of Corsair PC2700 RAM from axion technologies. It sits on my Epox 8KA3+, with Geforce4 4400, and SB Live Audigy Firewire. I was getting random reboots, and when I tried to install anything big to the hard drive I'd get all kinds of errors. When I tried to install Medal of Honor AA (big game), the thing locks up. When I reboot, it says I have 128 or 119M or RAM. Let it sit for 10 minutes, turn it back on, it says I have 256M. Is this a bum stick, or could there be some setting that is bass ackwards in my bios? I haven't even tried to OC yet, so this is really perturbing me. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a bad module of some of the chips aren't registering at boot.

I would replace it.
