How come when i run the Sisoft sandra memory test i get half of what most of the other people are getting. I get around 1500 but others are getting much higher using the same RDRAM.

What are your bios settings?
Sandra gives me 3726/3248 with fsb@130.

The only settings i know of in my bios are for 3x/4x and turbo.
Is it maybe because i'm only running with 2 slots filled instead of all 4?

I`ve only got 2 sticks of ram in the same as you, i can see that you`re running @2016, is this with the fsb set to 112? Try the 4x setting in your bios. If it is to pump the fsb x 4 instead of 3 it should give you a bit more,

I got the same problem (cough). I have a 1.6a at 2.23 on a P4T-E (140 FSB, 4XMode). This is 512 MB ram, mind you. I barely hit 2000 on both Sandra benchmarks, when I should be hitting at least 3000. I have TURBO RDRAM disabled though.

But I get 11,750 when I run 3DMark2001 and 15,130 when I run 3DMark2000 (Ti 4600 at 315/735), so no big deal .

This may help some of yuo who had the same problem i had!
I just downloaded the updated version of Sisoft Sandra 2002.
Well after that i ran the memory bandwidth test and now i have an average score of 2800+. Before i only used to get 1500. So maybe sisoft sandra 2001 didn't support my ASUS motherboard completely.

Yeah Burning Phoenix, that's probably it. I am running the 2001 STE version of Sandra. I notice I was also getting crummy memory scores with a bunch of other motherboards.

Yep, I installed Sandra 2002 and my memory scores went from 2000 to 3500! I found TURBO RDRAM only helped a bit (went from 3491 to 3512).

This probably explains my low mem scores with a BE6-II and another RDRAM board, a P3C-E. I was getting 400 when it should have been around 1000.

Geez, what kind of benchmark is Sandra? People use it as the Bible and yet the 2001 version is way off base. Seems it's a synthetic benchmark.

BTW, that memory score I got could be higher, but it is pretty astounding to me. I upgraded from a 900 mhz Coppermine on Apollo Pro, 815, 440BX boards giving me maybe 380/450. 3500/3500? Geez.
