How many Y connectors can i put on my Power supply before i start losing power? on a 300wat?
It really depends on the cables you use. Depending on the gauge of the wire and length, they will add a certain resistance to the current.
The only way to know for sure is to install your splitters and check the output with a multimeter, and see if the voltage dropped at all. The resistance will also show up as heat, so if your wires get hot take out a splitter- but that's realy unlikely. Unless you hook up like 20 of the things:)
In my case, I have 2 short Y-splitters powering my hard drives and some other junk and have almost no power drop, but there is one... I'd be afraid to add a 3rd one.
So, I'd say you'll be ok if you chain 2 together, but no more. If you just add 1 splitter to each PSU connector, you should also be ok. You'll run out of juice for devices first that way.
