i want good overclocking with xp1900 and 2000 unlocked
i have ax-7 with delta 80cfm
and geforce 4

Samsung pc2700 recently got the best marks on a ddr shootoff at one of the sites, I'd post a link but can't remember where... think it's from from page of hardocp. Samsung was able to do 212 mhz which is damn impressive. I'd say you can't go wrong with it it's amazing ram, and really cheap.

Kingmax PC2700 no doubt about it. Look at the sig. Only 2.65v and all the best timings.

But Yodums that is only at 166! How high can you run with those settings? I can get to 200 with turbo settings, 3V.

Well I'd bet if I volt modded the board and the CPU was able to do 200fsb no biggie then I'm sure it'd do it. I mean AudiMan was able to get to 215fsb with this.

I just think my AGP might run out of spec.

Based on the result by Crucial pc2100, I would recommend the pc 2700. Crucial (almost) always perform well, but Kingmax and Corsair are also really good. I have'nt tried them though, but it would be my recommandetion for anyone! If you were thinking about going with the "high speed" OCZ, DON'T!!

I still think the Corsair can run higher WITH TURBO settings than the Kingmax. Audi has run at 215, but, at slow settings. Here is a screenshot of his at 213, the next post is mine at 191. Tell me what you see. We run the SAME mobo.

hey nik you recomendation corsair

what is the price?

i have kingmax and sucks in turbo settings

I would have to say "yes"! On www.pricewatch.com I see 256 for $101 and 512 for $192. I run 1 512 stick. They also make XMS 3000, 256 for $119, they don't make a 512 stick in the 3000 yet, they may never.

1 stick 512mb is better than 2 stick 256mb??

corsair is better than samsung??
or is better for overclock

xms 2700 is better than xms 3000??

for overclock with turbo settings

I have the CMX512-2700C2. If I were buying the ram RIGHT NOW, I would go for the CMX256A-3000C2, should reach higher settings than the 2700 and it is only $18 more.

I am in the market for PC2700 memory, but as of now, it doesn't seem like any chipset really takes advantage of this extra memory bandwidth. Here is Crucial PC2100 ECC memory @ 132fsb with a 3:4 divider.
