Memory

Sorry about the subject title but I need your advice on memory settings.

I have an EPOX EP-8k3a+ motherboard and OCZ PC3000 DDR RAM.

What are the optimal memory settings for this combination of hardware.

Please let me know.

THanks

Turbo. That's what I've read on other boards. It's a good default setting and you can increase the voltage as need be.

I'm building a system right now with the same board, but I'm using PC2700 Corsair.

Good luck,
Wedo

I wasn't. If you'll be sorry for doing something on here....there's no reason to do it in the first place!

Welcome to the Forums!!!

I have an 8K3A+, and I checked the Turbo settings. They are the fastest settings available.

keep us informed on how everything goes. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here.

Turbo works for now. I will experiment later.

Thanks

Don't expect to much of the chip, the OCZ varys a lot from each ram module. Some might even not be able to handle the speed they were sold on!! This has been discussed before, so I will provide you with a link

But who knows, perhaps you're one of the lucky ones, and have gotten a good chip. I hope so...

Keep us posted
