I'm thinking about buying a new system and I think I'll go with a PIV 1.8a and the Abit TH7-II. I'm just not sure which memory to use. I have haerd that the samsung 256 Mb double sited should work pretty good.

I would tend to agree about the Samsung chips. They seem to be more stable when overclocked than other brands. I run 2X256 PC800 Samsungs and they will do PC1066 easily with no memory errors. My RDRAM voltage is about 2.46v under load. Stay away from the Toshiba RDRAM as I have seen many problems with it even when not overclocked!

thx guys ... guess I'll go with the samsung from googlegear.com
