I'm thinking about buying a new system and I think I'll go with a PIV 1.8a and the Abit TH7-II. I'm just not sure which memory to use. I have haerd that the samsung 256 Mb double sited should work pretty good.
Samsung 16 device 256 sticks have been giving awsome results for many people. available at www.googlegear.com
RD is better than DDR for overclocking IMHO
I would tend to agree about the Samsung chips. They seem to be more stable when overclocked than other brands. I run 2X256 PC800 Samsungs and they will do PC1066 easily with no memory errors. My RDRAM voltage is about 2.46v under load. Stay away from the Toshiba RDRAM as I have seen many problems with it even when not overclocked!
