Hey I just picked up an MSI 645 Ultra board and a p4 1.6A since I heard so much about the overclocking potential. Well im not getting the hoped ofr 2.4G out of it, I can push it as far as 130FBS but after that it wont boot or fails on prime95 test within first couple minutes.

Im not sure what the correct settings are, but I didnt touch the ram settings,

FBS: 130
CPU/DRAM ratio: 4:5
voltage: 1.525

seems to run ok with those but its only just over 2G, was hoping for a bit more, as far as my memory goes ...i picked up some sumsung 256meg

K4H280838D-TCB3 serial on the chips

Im using the retail intel heatsink/fan, I would appriciate any suggestions on getting more out of this puppy!

Thanx in advance

Increase the core voltage to at least 1.6V. I have a 1.6A running at 2.2 GHz with core at 1.9V and it runs rock solid. A little extra juice won't hurt it.
