i have a 512mb stick of crucial ddr pc2700 ram. In the Sandra program it tells me it is only running at 266mhz instead of 333mhz. How would i go about fixing it so it runs at the right speed. i have the asus a7v333 mobo.

It's a DDR bus, right?

All you gotta do is bump the FSB up to 166mhz, which doubles to 333. More or less.

Or maybe just the RAM can goto 166. Not sure, haven't read up much on the 333 boards. But, something needs to be goosed to 166:D

I'm pretty sure there is an option to change the ram speed to 166 without moving up the fsb because of the divider.
