what is the final word on using a coppermine board with a tulantin?
I have the cuv4x.
I read throught the marathon post.

I still read that Win2K does NOT work. I had seen that a couple of posts stated there was a prob with Win2K.

is it a bios thing?

I am open to doing it, if it really works. Just booting and running win98 is not IMHO really working.

thank you for your time and have a good day

The thread is pretty hard to follow, but IIRC the fellow O/Cer (doer?) that had problems could solve that thru redoing the AK4/AK26 connection, it's mentioned somewhere near the end. There's also some talk of an issue with the clock circuit on that board AFAIR.

thank you.

Bottom line is that celleron-T chips can't run 100% on coppermine boards, untill someone figures out what else need to be done to get Win2K to work.
