I've actually heard a lot of bad reviews about OCZ. I think you would be better off buying som Samsung PC2700. It looks like it'll run at well over 200 FSB.

And have you noticed that there are no bad reviews on NewEgg? They don't post any bad reviews, just the good ones.

I've got a number of products from Ocz...all between 6 months & a year old...everythings cool here.

I picked up a stick of OCZ 3200 DDR from NewEgg at the beginning of the month. The price was right...

We all prefer the actual performance numbers instead of subjective opinion so here they are:

OCZ 3200 DDR (CL 2.5)

CAS 2-2-2 1T up to 174MHz
CAS 2-2-2 2T up to 190MHz
CAS 2.5 2T up to 210MHz

Sandra scores are highest at 2-2-2 2T 190MHz

The memory is advertised as CL 2.5 DDR 400 and it exceeds that spec.

Lucky you!

My OCZ 3000 won't do 2-2-2 1T past 134MHZ. I cant even run the memory benchmark in Sandra at 135MHZ.

I do agree with the link....but I doubt the pinheads that run those sites actually manufacter the RAM. As far as the guy that's saying his PC-3000 won't run at 2-2-5-2....well, look at the ratings for it. It's NOT supposed to run that fast? If it's rated at 2.5, then that's what it WILL run at.

If you want 2-2-5-2, get their memory that's rated that fast.
