Intel 840 and Radeon 8500

Are there any know conflicts between these two pieces of hardware? The MB is a SuperMicro PIII-DM3 and my older video cards work fine, but the Radeon will not allow the system to boot, but there are no beep codes or errors, just no video. Any Thoughts?

hmmm did you try to flash the bios? (that is if a new version of teh bios is available...)

Nope it has the newest bios. It should not have anything to do with that either.

I use a Radeon 8500 on a Intel OR840 Board without problems, you should be fine. I also tried my old Radeon ViVo which works.
