In short: With all settings still at default. mobo right out of the package the memory fails.
My friend and I bought the same stuff and he has the same problem. Memory failure.
I'm talking about Samsung pc2700 DDR ram. I'm a bit surprised that it fails in both systems. haven't had time to go to a local shop for testing so right now let's presume the ram Does work.
Both my friend and I have been working at a computerstore building pc's and have years of experience with stuff like this. In fact i was already wondering, hmmm what could go wrong this time.
We did the most basic test you can do: install only the cpu, ram videocard and powercables. If the system doesn't post, you have a very high chance that something is broke.
Am I missing some obvious jumper setting here or something????
