Hi everyone, first off I'm new to this forum...I joined because of the Abit boards and all the other great info you guys post. Anyway my question is I built my system in jan 02 when only
the willamette was avalible. I have been unable to overclock it
any more than 106 fsb! Is this normal for a willamette 1.9 cpu?
I even switched from Kingston to Samsung ram...with no change.
I've been trying for months with no results...any ideas?

Thanks...........maxwedge

Sell it on ebay and get yourself a Northwood. You will have a lot more fun and satisfaction. A 1.9 Willmanette is just about at the end of Intel's yeild for the .18 process, so you really are not going to get much more out of it, as you have already discovered.

Good luck,

LJ

Yea I kinda figured it is my willamette. I'm gonna get a northwood
but I'm waiting for the 133 fsb cpu's come out. I'll decide which one to get then. The willamette going in the kid's pc...not ebay.

Thanks....maxwedge;)
