man it would be hard to do something liek that i dont see why you dont just rma it

PM Diggerr, he has a technique that is your best bet. Or maybe do a search, I know I read a thread where he went over it. He's really good at that sort of thing.

can you post a picture of the rip?
when I repaired a bp6 with a ripped trace, I basically did what the link said,
scrapped the covering off until the metal was exposed, masked around the rip with something, then put the conductive stuff on it.
