i was just wondering where it would say what typed or ram you can use

my system is a p4 1.7 and the mobo is intel d850bg or d850gbal (i think)

i want the best ram i can get

Samsung PC 800 RDRAM

and BTW dont think of OCing that cuz its Intel, no options whatsoever in the BIOS (I should know Gateway sticks in D850GB'
s)

probably 2x256 sticks would be good if you can find the memory @ a reasonable price somewhere.

2x 128 MB would be fine, but if you have the money, 2x 256 MB (512 MB total) offers the smoothest running IMHO

BTW, remember taht you have to install RDRAM in identical pairs, unlike SDR and DDR
