HI

PC with:
P133
HD 4GB
32MB ram

was running win98, then i wanted to install mandrak, after mandrak created the partitions and formated them i had do push reset!
well, i wanted to reinstall win98 then, but i can'T there is one partition of 1,4mb unnallocated the rest is error!
fdisk doesn't work, can'T delete this partition
partition magic can't do anything either!
HELP!!

Ahh - good old Linux has a strangle hold on your Master Boot Record. Try fdisk /mbr first, then run fdisk again to see if you can delete the partition. If that doesn't work you will need to perform a low-level format, then fdisk and format. You didnot mention the brand of hdd that you have. You can usually go to the mfg's web site and d/l a diagnostic utility that usually includes a low-level routine.
