ok well i used alot of shuttle boards on my amd systems and they overclocked quite well... i was wondering if anyone here uses or has oced with a shuttle p4 board esp one with ddr

I had a Shuttle AV40-r and it was packed full of overclocking features. It used the Via P4X266 chipset and was rock solid in stability. Review

Now if you opt for a Shuttle board like the AV45GTR with the P4X266A chipset, bear in mind it has a maximum FSB of 120MHz

(I have no idea how the other Shuttle boards like the AB40/AB40R perform)

It will be interesting to see how the P4X333 Chipset performs, Shuttle will most likely use that chipset soon.

the one i was looking at was
SHUTTLE AS40GT SiS645 P4 DDR 400MHz
anyone here ever use that will realy help im my decision

ssjwizard,

Wish I had the answers for you, but I can tell you this...

If you spend $7 more you can get the AV45GTR model

At Newegg the SHUTTLE AS40GT is $76.00 and the AV45GTR is $83

Both include 3 day shipping for $10 ;)

yea well i dont need the raid i have a big enough database around here as is. is there any other advantage the board has over the non raid other than that?
