Guys I think Sandra is on the fritz
This is insane 60000 hdd bench.
THe random write is like 500mb it sure doesn't seem like it was performing this well, it was only getting barely that of 20000
THis is with 2 maxtor ata133's in raid 0
I think im gonna ditch em and get the western digital 8mb cache 80gb for only $137 at newegg

Ive learned not to trust the HDD benchmark. It says my drives(Either the 10K RPM or the 2x 7200 RAID) are about half the speed of a 5400 33 drive.

try HDTech, Sandra is crap for benchmarking hard disks

Iv found that sandra will score my harddrive right where it should be ONLY immedialy after a defrag. If its even moderatly fragmented it drops WAY down. I know fragmentation effects performance, but its not that bad in real life.

Yeah - I love my D740X.

btw - you can get a screen shot of an individual window by using <alt> <Print Screen>.
Then you don't have to monkey around trying to crop or trim the picture...
