Proxy help plz

i sent my friend an e-mail a while ago and he looked at the header of the e-mail and got my ip adress, then messed about with it (i was not happy:mad: ) so today i decided to connect through a proxy 2 combat this. My e-mails are now hiding my true ip adress:D but i still get the same adress when connecting to mIRC is there anything i can do about this?

thats because what you are doing is boucing proxies from Internet exploer, right? so that will block ur email. But u need to bounce proxies through mirc, so if there is an option in mIRC that says "proxy servers" or whatever, use the same proxy server u are using for ur IE.
