Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. On my 4BDA2+, I recently bought a stick of Corsair PC3000 DDR Ram from NewEgg that posts on the startup screen as DDR2100 Ram. In the BIOS, I only have these options for Memory frequencies:

DDR200
DDR266
Auto.

I'm choosing DDR266 but am only getting 165Mhz out of the RAM. Does anyone know why it posts as DDR2100 when it's supposed to be DDR3000 or why I can't choose higher settings in the BIOS? There's something I'm not getting. Thanks,

Tyson

Nothing wrong with your rig.

My PC2700 ram shows up as PC2100 on my 4BDA2+ also.

Guess we'll have to wait for a bios update.

Thanks.

I assume you have the same options that I listed above then? DDR200 or DDR266 and no more? If so, how do you get your Memory frequency to 185Mhz and above? My FSB right now is 124Mhz at 2.23Ghz, and the memory is at 165Mhz.

Yep, only got those 3 options also.(DDR200/DDR266/auto)

I just booted 24 x 121fsb(484) = 2.9ghz & my DDR speed is 322 as read on the bootup screen.

Thats with the DDR266 selected & memory reading 161mhz in the bios.
