which shall i get, 256mb corsair xms2700 or 256mb samsung original pc2700?

im looking for the best performance.

I use Corsair. They use Micron chips. (rated # 2 I think)
Samsung is rated #1, they use thier own chips. If cost isn't a factor.

I'd say Samsung too.
 
I asked myself the same questions a couple days ago. From what I have read you can just stick corsair chips in and max them out. Samsung is cheaper and supposedly a little better, but they have to be "burned in" from what I hear, this means you slowly have to increase the voltage a bus speed over an extended period of time. So in the end I picked corsair which I have heard good stuff about =-) Give me till thursday and I can give you some info on my corsair stick.

Smasung DDR333 is WAY better than Corsair2700. Samsung uses the same chips as Corsair 3000 and 3200.
